| Description/Notes: | Work directly with the Superintendent of Schools to develop expertise in district governance, finance, human resources, curriculum and instruction, accountability systems, legal compliance, strategic planning, community relations, and Board operations while supporting a structured leadership transition process. |
| Qualifications: | Required: • Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or a related field. • Valid Texas Superintendent Certificate or eligibility to obtain certification within six (6) months of employment. • Minimum three (3) years of successful administrative leadership experience in public education. • Knowledge of Texas public school governance, accountability, finance, and operations. • Demonstrated leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Preferred: • District-level administrative experience. • Experience with school finance, strategic planning, personnel administration, and Board relations. |
