Located on Sawyer Ranch Road just north of the Highpointe neighborhood, SSE is home to 700 students in grades PK-5. The Sycamore Springs team of "life-changers" is comprised of highly qualified professionals who are dedicated to serving the students of our community and supporting the mission and vision of DSISD. While SSE operates separately from Sycamore Springs Middle School, the two schools are located on a shared 50-acre site, and are connected in order to gain efficiency in areas such as the shared kitchen and a tiered Center for Learning & Innovation. |

| Description/Notes: | Direct the operation of the Center for Learning and Innovation (CLI). Provide resources, services, and instructional support that develop students’ information literacy, inquiry, critical thinking, creativity, and technology skills. Serve as an instructional partner, curriculum resource, and technology integration facilitator by collaborating with and supporting teachers to enhance instruction and improve student achievement. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: • Master’s Degree in library and information science from accredited college or university • Valid Texas school librarian certificate or endorsement Special Knowledge/Skills: • Ability to instruct and manage student behavior • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience: • Three years classroom teaching experience • Experience teaching a variety of grade levels/subject areas preferred • Experience as a teacher-leader or teacher-coach preferred • Experience in educational technology preferred |
| Salary Range: | $59,390 to $82,013 Per Year |
