| Description/Notes: | The Chief Operations Officer is a crucial role that will build community and department trust by strengthening customer service, improving operational efficiency, and communicating effectively with our constituents. This role provides senior executive leadership over the departments of construction management, facilities, transportation, and food and child nutrition. This role serves as the chief spokesperson for the District’s operational improvement, ensuring that there are clear expectations, accountability, definitions of success, and progress monitoring routines for the assigned departments. This role ensures a culture of customer service for our schools and staff, manages department leaders, and oversees all budget and human capital management decisions. |
| Qualifications: | Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, architecture, finance, business administration or related field or 4-year equivalent experience, and 3+ years professional experience in Operations or related experience, and Progressive leadership experience to include: Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing, and Managing employees or teams. Coaching, Mentoring, Developing, and Performance Managing employees or teams. Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. | Salary Range: | Salary Range: $138,544 - $195,595. Salary is determined on directly related experience supported by a service record or experience affidavit. For more information on our pay policy, please refer to the Compensation Resource Manual . Annualized pay may be pro-rated based on actual start date. |
