Campus Description: <br /> <br /> Starting at $52,000 + commensurate with experience<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Job Function:<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Under the supervision of the Executive Director of HR – the Talent Acquisition Coordinator works to:<br /> <br /> <br /> 1. Lead, plan, direct, coordinate, and execute recruitment initiatives to ensure schools are fully staffed.<br /> 2. Coordinates candidate selection in the areas of certification, highly qualified teachers, retention, and performance management.<br /> 3. Develops and maintains talent acquisition pipelines to identify prospective candidates.<br /> 4. Collaborates effectively with staff to oversee the hiring and selection process.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Duties:<br /> <br /> ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned by the Executive Director of HR and the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> • Work with Campus-Based Talent Leaders and other supervisors to develop plans to keep schools fully staffed, ensure job specifications and desired candidate qualities are clear, and provided feedback on candidate selection.<br /> • Internalize our staffing, recruitment, selection, hiring, and retention process.<br /> • Strong organizational, teamwork, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.<br /> • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy.<br /> • Ability to collaborate with organizations to build talent pipelines.<br /> • Coordinate charter wide recruitment initiatives overseeing preparation and budget.<br /> • Drive and manage the candidate journey throughout the selection process to ensure a positive experience.<br /> • Manage and oversee the collaboration with colleges/universities to adequately place students.<br /> • Manage special projects as assigned by the CHRO including reports, district job fairs, and recruitment promotional items.<br /> • Verify certification status of teacher applicants and employees with the Texas State Board of Education Certification (SBEC), universities, colleges, and education agencies in other states.<br /> • Assists with the maintenance of complete job description documentation.<br /> • Reviews employment applications and all associated documents for completeness and accuracy.<br /> • Maintains records and provides reports as necessary regarding resumes, applicant flow, and employee selection (in computer database and files).<br /> • Schedules and attends on site Career Fairs as needed to expand the network of candidates for TBP.<br /> • Manages the various platforms necessary to attend the variety of virtual Career Fairs and recruits appropriate campus staff to attend.<br /> • Prepares and posts job openings internally and externally as appropriate.<br /> • Assists in reaching out to candidates using a variety of methods including social media, partnerships with universities, etc.<br /> • Assists with the development and implementation of teacher retention strategies.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Skills and Qualifications<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Due to the confidential nature of the information processed by this position, in each of the previous categories, it is expected that this employee will maintain a high level of confidentiality.<br /> <br /> To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.<br /> <br /> While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to grasp, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Requirements:<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.<br /> • 3-5 years of experience with Recruitment & Certification requirements.<br /> • Ability to travel.<br /> • Comprehensive Human Resources experience preferred.<br />
