| Description/Notes: | Primary Purpose: Work with the Chief Financial Officer toward managing the operation of all financial and business affairs of the district, including accounting, payroll, purchasing, risk management, and tax collection. |
| Qualifications: | Education: Bachelor's degree or combination of college education and experience Special Knowledge/Skills: Advanced technical knowledge of school finance, budgeting, accounting systems, and economics Working knowledge of financial applications and accounting Ability to implement policy and procedures Knowledge of and the ability to follow mandates established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy in the area of business operations Ability to interpret data Ability to manage budget and personnel Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Ability to use a personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and do word processing Ability to coordinate district functions Experience: Three years school business management or public organization experience preferred |
