Description/Notes: The Grievance Hearing Officer and Compliance Manager serves as the district's primary Level I Grievance Hearing Officer and supports the management of the district's grievance process. This includes receiving, reviewing, investigating, and responding to employee grievance complaints in accordance with district policies. This position will be dedicated to ensuring Level I Grievances are handled in a timely, fair and consistent manner.

In addition, the Grievance Hearing Officer and Compliance Manager assists in supporting SBEC reporting requirements and other Human Resources compliance related processes as assigned.
Qualifications: Education/Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree, required.
- Minimum four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in employee relations, investigations, compliance, grievance administration,
human resources management, or a related field required or a minimum of 4 years experience in campus administration (principal, assistant
principal, dean).
- Experience conducting workplace investigations, managing employee relations matters, or administering grievance processes preferred.
- Experience interpreting and applying federal and state employment laws and regulations preferred.
- Public school district Human Resources and/or campus administration experience preferred.
- Experience with educator misconduct investigations, SBEC reporting requirements, or regulatory compliance processes preferred.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

- Working knowledge of workforce management practices, district policies, employee handbook guidelines and their application in day-to-day
operations.
- Working knowledge of employment law (including FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and Title VII) and the ability to apply these statutes to employee
relations matters.
- Strong interpersonal skills, polished verbal and written communication skills, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to effectively support
and advise administrators and employees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Google applications, with the ability to analyze data and support compliance reporting
requirements.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain high standards pertaining to confidentiality.
Salary Range: 94,991 - 133,900
