REPORTS TO:             PRINCIPAL
FLSA STATUS:           NON-EXEMPT
CALENDAR DAYS:     176
SCHEDULE:  MONDAY - FRIDAY,  10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (PART TIME) 20 HRS A WEEK
SALARY RANGE:  $16.28 - 19.45 HOURLY
LOCATION:    KINGSLAND SCHOOL, KINGLAND TEXAS 

POSITION SUMMARY: 
Promote safety and well-being of students as they interact during their lunchtime.




MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Student Interaction:
Maintains appropriate student safety in cafeteria.
Communicates with students and others in a positive and professional manor.
Encourage table manners.
Maintains order in the cafeteria.
Maintains cleanliness of tables and other areas of cafeteria.

Working Conditions:

Physically able to move around the cafeteria and perform duties at efficient speed.
Physically able to assist children with opening their lunch items, if needed.
Physically able to bend, squat, reach, grasp, and other physical positions.
Physically able to stand for a long period of time.

Professional Growth and Development:

Participate in professional development that increases effectiveness and improves school performance.

Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

Education equivalent to completion of high school or GED
Knowledge of basic first aid and training in Cardio Pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)


Special Knowledge/Skills:

Gaining and understanding knowledge of Kingsland's lunchroom behavior standards.
Skill in coping with a variety of students in varied situations.
Skill in working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of basic first aid.

Experience:

Prefer three month's experience, preferably with children in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: SCHEDULE:  MONDAY - FRIDAY,  10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (PART TIME) 20 HRS A WEEK
SALARY RANGE:  $16.28 - 19.45 HOURLY
