Description/Notes: Major Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Work cooperatively with the Executive Leadership team in the campus-level implementation of procedures and programs relating to their areas of responsibility.
2. Interact with parents, patrons, and staff in resolving conflicts and investigating issues and concerns, including grievances, TEA Complaints, OCR, and EEOC.
3. Assist in collecting and analyzing data to prepare reports for the board and district leadership meetings.
4. Supervise elementary principals in the leadership and management of all schools.
5. Participate in the selection and evaluation of elementary administrators.
6. Communicate local policy and state and federal legal requirements relating to secondary school administration to principals.
7. Provide information and assistance to school administrators regarding effective and efficient administrative practices.

8. Support board policy and board action with the superintendent, staff, campus personnel, and community.
9. Serve as the District Chapter 37 representative and assist campus principals in making discretionary DAEP placement decisions.
10. Work collaboratively with the Curriculum and Instruction Department to support principals as instructional leaders.
11. Keep the executive leadership team informed concerning opportunities, needs, and operation of the schools as it relates to instructional leadership requirements.
12. Evaluate principals according to established T-PESS domains and dimensions.
13. Work collaboratively with the Principals to review and update the Student Code of Conduct and Student Handbook.
14. Serve as District Liaison for Right at School Program.
15. Plan and oversee the summer school program.
16. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Superintendent/Chief Academic Officer.
Qualifications: Education/Certification:
Master’s degree in education administration Valid Texas Teaching Certification

Experience:
Minimum five years of principal experience
Salary Range: $108,394 - $155,761
