| Description/Notes: | Paint Creek ISD is searching for a motivated individual who can lead and oversee district maintenance to ensure that all school facilities are maintained in excellent condition, providing a safe, clean, and functional environment for educational purposes. We will be on a 4-day work week beginning in August. Qualifications: Education/Certification: Valid Texas driver’s license required and Commercial Drivers Licence preferred Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of construction, school plant maintenance, and custodial operations. Ability to inspect facilities, maintain the grounds, and fix minor repairs. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Major Responsibilities and Duties: Ensure district facilities are functional, safe, clean, and well-maintained. Develop and maintain procedures for building maintenance and operations. Prepare plans and specifications for repairs and improvements. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, and safety protocols. Manage inventory, control equipment and supplies. Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Includes frequent walking, climbing, lifting, and exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, and noise. |
