| Qualifications: | Education/Certification/Licensure Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from an accredited college or university CPR/AED certification Texas certification for Vision and Hearing certification, instructor preferred Special Knowledge/Skills Ability to implement district policies and procedures Ability to manage personnel and budgets Ability to identify emerging issues involving school health Ability to promote wellness through district health services program Strong organizational, communication, public relations and interpersonal skills Experience Experience equivalent to five years in nursing/health administration related work Experience as a school nurse for 2+ years. |
