| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Master’s Degree in educational administration Texas Administrative or Mid-Management Certification or the new Standard Principal Certificate Certified appraiser in Board approved evaluation system Special Knowledge/Skills: Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to coordinate campus functions Ability to implement policy and procedures Ability to interpret data Strong communication, organizational, public relations, and interpersonal skills Ability to speak Spanish desired but not required Experience: Three years teaching experience Two years experience in instructional leadership roles |
