Comanche Elementary is seeking a self-motivated individual to serve as an Elementary Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver TEKS-based instruction to lower elementary students and to work closely with all other grade-level teachers in a collaborative atmosphere. The teacher will be expected to articulate and model a love of learning and to use instructional methods that emphasize higher-level thinking skills. |

Valid Texas Teaching Certificate for elementary
(ESL certification. Completion of the Texas Reading Academy and GT credentials are a plus, but can be obtained during the school year) |

The allotment provides funding to pay highly effective teachers whose students show measurable improvement in academic growth.
