| Description/Notes: | The individual in this role will prioritize the social and emotional wellbeing of our secondary students, ensuring they feel supported, connected, and prepared to engage in learning. Building on that foundation, the counselor will also provide academic guidance and college‑, career‑, and military‑readiness support, including assisting students as they explore and progress through Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and pathways. Responsibilities include helping families navigate behavioral and academic supports, collaborating with teachers, CTE staff, and campus administrators, supporting student scheduling (including CTE course sequencing), and coordinating required testing. The counselor will play a vital role in fostering a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment for all students. |
