The Buffalo Valley School District Board of Education is seeking an educational leader to serve as superintendent of schools. Buffalo Valley School District, nestled between the Buffalo and Kiamichi Mountains in southeast Oklahoma, offers more than a quality education — it provides a distinctive way of life. Rooted in rich rural and agricultural traditions and supported by a close-knit community, the district fosters an environment where students are recognized, supported and encouraged to achieve their greatest potential.<br />

The district serves 164 students and employs 14 certified staff members and 16 support staff. Buffalo Valley students benefit from opportunities in STEM, robotics, athletics, esports and comprehensive agricultural education programs that help prepare them for future success. The district takes pride in its small-school atmosphere, strong community support and commitment to hands-on learning and real-world experiences. Students and teams continue to excel in science fair participation, STEM and robotics competitions, agricultural judging and speech contests, and high school athletics.<br />

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a district where relationships are strong, leadership is accessible and every student is known individually. The next superintendent will work alongside dedicated staff and a supportive community to strengthen existing programs and help guide the district toward continued success while supporting the academic, social and emotional growth of every student.<br />
