Description/Notes: The Director of HRS Staffing & Employee Support oversees all districtwide staffing, talent acquisition, and workforce planning functions. This strategic leadership role guides the Human Resource Services Staffing and Employee Relations teams in delivering efficient, equitable, and forward-thinking support to all campuses and departments.

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Director ensures alignment of staffing operations with the district’s mission, while leading initiatives that attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent across Round Rock ISD.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead districtwide strategic staffing, recruitment, and retention initiatives.
- Partner with principals and hiring managers to identify and fulfill staffing needs.
- Develop and implement data-driven workforce planning strategies aligned with district goals.
- Oversee the recruitment, selection, and placement of all district employees.
- Coordinate and evaluate talent sourcing and retention strategies to strengthen workforce diversity.
- Direct and support the Staffing and Employee Relations teams, ensuring consistent service delivery.
- Manage performance management processes, including documentation, analysis, and reporting.
- Plan and coordinate the district’s annual teacher job fair and other recruitment events.
- Oversee programs for student teachers, interns, and observers, supporting future educator pipelines.
- Conduct research and recommend process improvements related to HR systems, policies, and staffing practices.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and district policies.
- Foster collaboration, high performance, and positive morale across Human Resource Services.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: At least four (4) years of related experience, including two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.
Proven leadership in staffing, recruitment, or employee relations within education or comparable organizations.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of HR best practices, school finance, compensation, and Texas Education Agency regulations.
Salary Range: $102,598.40 + approved work experience.
