| Description/Notes: | Work Calendar Varies Depending on Assignment Salary is Negotiable based on experience and qualifications Sign on Stipend (year 1) Retention Stipend (year 2 and beyond) Performance Outcomes Stipend Primary Purpose: Direct and manage instructional program and supervise operations and personnel at campus level. Provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service. Oversee compliance with district policies, success of instructional programs, and operation of all campus activities. Lead and implement required state and federal school improvement interventions. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Master’s degree in Education Leadership,School Administration or equivalent Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate Certified Teacher Evaluation and Support System TTESS appraiser Special Knowledge/Skills: Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to coordinate campus functions Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of state and federal school improvement systems and protocols Experience: Three (3) years experience as a classroom teacher Three (3) years experience preferred in instructional leadership roles Three (3) years experience as a campus principal Demonstrated experience in improving academic performance preferred |
