| Description/Notes: | Grapeland High School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our faculty as an Ag Mechanic Teacher. This full-time position requires a passionate educator who can inspire and equip students with the skills necessary for success in agricultural mechanics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in agricultural technology and mechanics, as well as a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. |
| Qualifications: | Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education, Agricultural Mechanics, or a related field. - Valid teaching certification in Agricultural Education or the ability to obtain one. - Proven experience in agricultural mechanics, including hands-on skills in welding and equipment maintenance. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues. - Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning. - Commitment to professional development and continuous learning in the field of agricultural education. - Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in agricultural mechanics. - Experience with classroom management and instructional strategies tailored to diverse learning styles. - Passion for teaching and a desire to inspire the next generation of agricultural professionals. |

| Benefits: | BCBS TRS-Active Care Health Insurance. $150/month paid by the district and $75/month paid by the State of Texas Free childcare for first child, discount for others. After school care 4 day work week $500 Masters Stipend |
