Qualifications: | - Master's degree in educational administration -Valid Superintendent Certificate, or currently seeking certification - Minimum 3 years as a campus principal or campus administrator - Advanced knowledge of Texas school law, finance, curriculum, and accountability - Experience in a rural, small, or mid-size district is preferred. - A strong background in student performance success, educational technology, and vocational programs. Experience in maintaining strong UIL academic, and athletic success is also preferred. - Integrity and exemplary moral character along with excellent people skills who lead by example. Visible throughout the community, district, and on campuses. - A strong desire to be a part of the community and the willingness to be present at extra-curricular and community events. - A person with an open mind, who will take the time to see what works before making significant changes. - High expectations for Grady ISD students, faculty, and staff, and the desire to take a great school district - A community leader with a reputation as approachable, ethical, and enthusiastic |
