| Campus Description: | East Chambers ISD, home of the Buccaneers, is a district of approximately 1,560 students in Winnie/Stowell, Chambers County, Texas. East Chambers ISD has four campuses- a primary school, elementary school, junior high school, and high school. Culture and climate within East Chambers ISD are steeped in rich traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation. The climate within the District and on every campus is warm, friendly, and loving. In September, all of the schools and Winnie/Stowell residents come together to celebrate our rice farmers at the Texas Rice Festival. In the fall, the town rallies around our high school football and volleyball teams to cheer them on every Friday night. When football season ends, then basketball, baseball, soccer, golf, track, tennis, UIL, softball, and one act plays begin. The support from the School District and the residents of Winnie/Stowell stays constant throughout the school year. It's one of the attributes that makes East Chambers ISD and Winnie/Stowell such a great place to be and rear children. |
