| Description/Notes: | Responsible for the supervision of multiple principals within an assigned feeder pattern. Lead a cross-functional team focused on delivering rigorous instruction and ensuring student success. Establish a coaching, feedback, and support system that is aligned with the District’s goals. Coach principals on the quality of instruction to improve student achievement and performance outcomes. Manage, develop, and mentor leaders as you build capacity, mindsets, and decision-making outcomes. Ensure that principals are accountable for the delivery of curriculum and that the instructional programs are effective and efficient, incorporate district goals, and support student achievement. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Master’s degree from an accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate with Mid-Management or Principal Certification Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser Certified Texas Principal Evaluation and Support System (T-PESS) appraiser Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to lead principals for high-performance outcomes Knowledge of curriculum and instruction and Proven effectiveness with conflict resolution methods Ability to interpret data and evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to implement policy and procedures Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Proven effectiveness as a coach and mentor to others in leadership positions Experience working with diverse populations Experience: Five years of experience as a classroom teacher Five years of experience as a campus principal Three to five years of experience supervising staff at the central office level |
