| Description/Notes: | Electra ISD is looking for an energetic competitor to lead the Electra ISD Athletic program as well as the Tiger Football Team. Direct and manage the district's athletic program and facilities and instruct and coach students to develop skills and abilities to excel in athletics. Provide each student with the opportunity to participate in an extracurricular athletic activity and ensure compliance with all federal, state, University Interscholastic League (UIL), and local requirements. This leadership position will also be required to respect, guide, support and at times "coach the coaches" in order to set the expectation level for staff members to ensure there is one clear message and expectation for all each day. EISD is committed to provide the resources necessary to achieve these goals. Applicants should be knowledgeable and experienced in the structures and procedures for creating the total football program 7-12. This commitment to excellence will include both in season and out of season elements. EISD has an expectation level that student athletes will be drilled in techniques, skill enhancement as well as develop a sense of pride through an intensive strength and conditioning program. |
| Qualifications: | Experience: Athletic Director experience preferred not required Coordinator Experience preferred and/or Head Coaching Experience Regardless of Sport preferred but not required. CDL certified or achieved certification prior to the 2025-26 school year. Current Valid Teaching Certificate Other Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of overall operations of an athletic program Knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures Knowledge of federal, state, and UIL policies governing athletics Ability to implement policy and procedures Ability to manage budget and personnel Excellent public relations, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to speak effectively before groups of students, parents, and staff |
