Bonham ISD has approximately 1973 students, serving grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Bonham is the county seat of Fannin County and has a strong industrial and retail tax base with a population of over 10,000. Bonham ISD boasts challenging and engaging academic offerings along with robust CTE and extracurricular programs for all students. | Qualifications: | Job Requirements: ● Masters Degree in educational administration from an accredited college or university ● Valid Superintendent Certificate ● Five years of leadership in school administration in a public school district Board of Trustee Expectations for the New Superintendent: ● Experience in school leadership, preferably in Superintendent or central office role ● Possess a wide range of knowledge in the superintendency, including school finance and curriculum understanding ● Strong communication skills to provide consistent information to the board, staff, and community ● A team builder with the desire to seek input and attain support for key initiatives ● Passion for educating all students and leading staff to prepare students for life-long success ● Committed to become a part of the Bonham community with a constant presence at school and community events |
