| Description/Notes: | The Poth Board of Trustees is seeking an educational leader to serve as the Superintendent of Schools. The district is located in Wilson County approximately 35 miles southeast of San Antonio on US Highway 181. Enrollment of the district is 950 students PreK-12. Students are successful in academics, UIL activities, and athletic competitions. |
| Qualifications: | The successful candidate must possess the following characteristics and qualifications: • Possess a Texas Superintendent Certification • 5 or more years of leadership experience in school administration preferred • Superintendent experience preferred; not required • Attentive to staff morale and proven skills in building effective teams • A reputation of being trustworthy, accessible, ethical and confident • Reside within a 25-mile radius of the Administration office |

The final selection and appointment of a superintendent of schools is the sole responsibility of the Poth ISD Board of Trustees. Lone Finalist will be required to have a personal financial background check done by the district's legal counsel prior to offer of a contract.
