| Description/Notes: | Primary Purpose: Administer and operate the district's information technology systems and central administrative computer networks. Develop, maintain, and monitor all districts local area network (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN); responsible for installation, testing, and oversight of all network hardware, personal computers, software, and related equipment. Assist campuses and departments with the successful implementation of information technology systems. |
| Qualifications: | Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in network administration Special Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of and skills in server platforms such as Windows Server, UNIX, etc. Knowledge of and skills in server hardware/storage Knowledge of and skills in directory services such as Microsoft Active Directory Knowledge of and skills in security systems and operations Ability to analyze and resolve computer network problems Ability to analyze business/operations needs and design IT solutions Experience: Three years information systems management experience preferred |
