Description/Notes: The Holdsworth Center is a non-profit organization founded and largely funded by Charles Butt, Chairman and CEO of H-E-B, a regional retail company. Our mission is to impact, over time, the quality of K-12 public education for all Texas students by supporting and developing leaders. Based in Austin, Texas, our campus and programs are being developed in honor of Charles mother, Mary Elizabeth Holdsworth Butt, who was an educator, a philanthropist, and a lifelong champion for social justice.

We partner with public school districts over five years to help them grow outstanding leaders at all levels so that staff thrive, and students excel in every classroom. At Holdsworth, we believe leadership isnt just about titles. We make a deep investment in leaders at both the district and campus levels, including teachers who lead students in the classroom and influence and lead their colleagues.

The Holdsworth Center is seeking Contract Leadership Facilitators who share a deep commitment to our mission and whose experience and vision will deepen our capacity and enhance our impact as we aim to be of service to public school districts across the state of Texas.

Purpose

Contract Leadership Facilitators work on a team to provide high-quality facilitation for principals and campus teams (leaders) during sessions of our two-year Campus Leadership Program (CLP), as well as continuous improvement support during the two-year journey. Alongside other Leadership Facilitators and CLP staff, you will guide cohorts of leaders through the comprehensive, two-year program.

You must have a strong desire to help leaders in our program thrive in their careers and lead their campuses effectively. We are looking for individuals who share our passion for developing leadership in public education in order to increase excellent and equitable outcomes for all students.

As a Contract Leadership Facilitator, your services will support leaders to ensure maximum impact from their training and successful implementation of their learning at their home campuses. Services include building strong relationships with leaders and developing a psychologically safe environment where leaders can effectively work together on a range of issues.

This role is a contractual role for the next two academic years (SY23-24 and SY24-25). Contract Leadership Facilitator services include: a) attend all CLP session dates (primarily held in person at The Campus on Lake Austin in Austin, Texas) and facilitate learning; b) provide continuous improvement support for campus teams via phone or videoconference and in-person visits; and c) participate in onboarding, preparation, meetings, and networking around facilitation. A typical contract for July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2025 will include:

12 days per cohort in 2023-24, and 12 days per cohort in 2024-25, for continuous improvement support for campus teams
Preparation time for sessions and continuous improvement support (8 days in 2023-24; 8 days in 2024-25)
Face-to-face and virtual onboarding, preparation and networking as a facilitator team (10 days in 2023-24; 8 days in 2024-25).
