| Qualifications: | Masters degree in Education or related field Certification - Applicants are required to hold or provide eligibility for a TEA (SBEC) Superintendent Certificate in the State of Texas Minimum of 3-5 years of education administration experience; Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent experience preferred A leader who works to build positive relationships with all stakeholders through resiliency, flexibility, and a sense of humor Open-minded, approachable, people person who is actively involved and visible in the district and community A leader who possesses high integrity and makes decisions in the best interests of the students and overall district An excellent instructional managerknowledgeable of effective curricular and instructional strategies An effective and transparent communicator One who genuinely cares for students, staff, and the community A leader who sets high expectations and is willing to make necessary decisions and/or changes to consistently improve the district |
