Campus Description: The Analyst Systems will provide second level technical support on server and data center services, operating systems, DHCP, IIS, SNMP, scripting, file sharing, Active Directory, clustering and monitoring functions in line with FBISD's goals and objectives. The incumbent will provide visionary insight to management in order to plan and integrate newly developed innovations into the Technology Department's long-range plan. The incumbent may address complex systems management processes and automation such as configurations, asset, problem, discovery, change, release, and security management.

Description/Notes: Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Technical Support

Maintain current industry and vendor knowledge on Identity and Access Management, AD/Office 365, Storage and Backup, Physical and Virtual Servers, Operating Systems and Disaster Recovery solutions and systems
Provide support, provision and manage Identity and Access Management, AD/Office 365 and/or Server/SAN, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, IIS, file sharing, clustering, monitoring, software, and hardware; including but not limited to Rapid Identity, Microsoft, VMware, EMC, Cisco, and Commvault products
Proactively identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure control, reliability, and performance of all components
Participate in on-call and after hours maintenance activities

Systems Management

Develop Powershell Scripts and utilize Java Scripts to automate routine repetitive tasks
Monitor the overall integrity of the technologies and provide metrics for review
Provide peer team members with guidance, assistance, and mentoring to help develop skills. Conduct ongoing review of processes, procedures, and documentation looking for and proposing changes that improve productivity
Define, design and implement solutions using various server, storage and computing platforms with a focus on Identity and Access Management, AD/Office 365, Physical/Virtual Servers and Storage. Develop and document system and procedure configuration, including the creation of Visio diagrams
Perform lifecycle activities to include code changes, firmware upgrades and patches on Storage/SAN and on Physical and Virtual Servers
Provide documentation, project tracking and management required reporting

Planning

Propose and implement systems enhancements, including software and hardware updates, that will improve the performance and reliability of the system
Work to define, order and install various hardware platforms including operating systems, applications, and possibly their databases
Analyze, acquire, install, modify and support operating systems, databases, utilities, and Internet/Intranet related tools.Conduct systems programming and systems support activities, such as new or revised program language code
Provide input for improvements of processes currently in use and works with department management in evaluating upgrades and new initiatives

Bachelor's Degree Information Systems or related field
Minimum 3 years of direct job related duties and/or qualified technical certifications will be considered in place of degree requirement
Minimum of 3 years Provisioning, administering, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Physical/Virtual Servers, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange Online 2016, Microsoft Azure, Storage/Backup, Operating Systems, Identity and Access Management application preferably Rapid Identity), software, hardware, and networking
Minimum of 2 years Developing and implementing processes and procedures
Minimum of 2 years Private, Public and Hybrid Cloud based solutions support
Excellent communication skills with emphasis on the ability to communicate effectively through clear, concise delivery coupled with listening attentively, valuing others perspectives, creating open dialogue in own areas of influence, and effectively conveying technical information to non-technical personnel
Good writing skills with the ability to write with accuracy, simplicity, and completeness while providing an appropriate level of detail for the intended audience
Ability to gain the confidence and trust of others through principled business ethics, high integrity, follow-through on commitments, and adherence to procedures

Salary Range: $63,164 - $90,897
