Description/Notes: JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for all individual evaluations and related documentation for students referred or eligible for special education services. Assists with campus-wide student testing and assessment. Directly administers diagnostic (academic and nonacademic) instruments and supervises staff in administering others. Responsible for compliance with special education regulations and in training school personnel in regard to these regulations. May be required to work overtime, travel, and/or be on call.
Qualifications: REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.

AND

Valid Texas Certification as an Educational Diagnostician or Licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP).

Preferred:

Experience with children and adolescents in teaching or evaluation/assessment (educational and/or psychological).

Failure to maintain required certification/licensure in the state of Texas will result in termination of employment.

Any degree(s), semester hours, diploma(s), or GED required to meet minimum qualifications must be obtained from an accredited educational institution.

This position is subject to mandatory pre-employment drug testing and any offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results from a drug screen conducted for the agency.
Salary Range: $7,000 monthly
