| Qualifications: | Position requires a valid Texas teaching certificate in the subject and level of assignment. In addition, individuals in core academic subject areas must meet the highly qualified teacher requirements as per the No Child Left Behind Act. Education/Certification: -Bachelors degree from accredited university -Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned -Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned Special Knowledge/Skills: -Knowledge of core academic subject assigned -General knowledge of curriculum and instruction -Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior -Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills |

| Benefits: | Leave time includes 5 local days and 5 state days. District pays $225 towards TRS health insurance. Dental and vision are also available. |
