RISD grew 19% in student enrollment during the 25-26 school year and opened two new facilities, a new elementary school and Ag-Expo Center. The district currently has 3,400 students and is expected to grow to 10,000-15,000 students in the next 7-10 years. The district will be opening the 7th campus (a new 3,000 student high school/$350 million dollars) during the 2028-2029 school year, and constructing a new $72 million dollar stadium (approved by voters May 2026).
