| Description/Notes: | Deerpark Middle School is hiring a full-time Math Teacher (Algebra/Geometry) for the current school year. We are looking for an educator skilled at building solid foundational math concepts, using common assessments to guide instruction, and collaborating within a structured department team. |
| Qualifications: | -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. -Valid Texas Educator Certificate in Core Subjects (4–8), Mathematics (4–8), or Mathematics (7–12). -Experience with data-informed instruction, small-group remediation, and standard classroom accommodations. |
| Salary Range: | $56,750.00 - $75,250.00 |
| Benefits: | -Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA): Eligible teachers earning a Recognized, Exemplary, or Master designation generate between $4,486 and $16,953 in annual allotment pay directly on top of base salary. -Math & Critical Shortage Stipends: District stipends available for secondary math certification and specialized assignments. -Curriculum & Planning Support: Fully aligned district unit plans, scope and sequence, and shared common assessments to reduce lesson planning from scratch. -Mentorship Program: First- and second-year teachers receive assigned campus mentors; experienced hires receive departmental coaching and leadership pathways. |
