| Description/Notes: | The Chief School Officer serves as a key member of the Superintendent's Executive Leadership Team and provides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for all campus operations and school leadership. The Chief School Officer is responsible for ensuring high levels of student achievement, effective instructional leadership, operational excellence, and accountability across assigned schools. The position supervises Network Instructional Superintendents and other leaders responsible for school leadership and performance. The Chief School Officer works collaboratively with district departments to ensure schools receive the support necessary to improve student outcomes and achieve district strategic goals. |
| Qualifications: | Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university. 3+ years of successful campus principal experience. Progressive leadership experience to include: Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing, and Managing employees or teams. Coaching, Mentoring, Developing, and Performance Managing employees or teams. Valid Texas Teacher Certification Valid Texas Mid-management, administrator, or principal certification. Experience leading multiple campuses or serving in a district-level executive leadership role Demonstrated success improving student achievement in diverse learning environments. Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $50.00) paid by the employee |
| Salary Range: | $132,772 - $187,445. Salary is determined on directly related experience supported by a service record or experience affidavit. For more information on our pay policy, please refer to the Compensation Resource Manual. Annualized pay may be pro-rated based on actual start date. |
