| Description/Notes: | Blanco ISD is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Science Teacher to inspire and educate students while fostering their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The primary purpose of this role is to provide students with meaningful learning activities and experiences that help them reach their full potential and develop the skills necessary for success in school and beyond. Coaching duties are to be determined and may include a combination of middle and high school sports. Possible coaching assignments include: Head Boys Basketball, Strength & Conditioning Coordinator, Assistant Football, Assistant Track. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university -Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for the assigned subject and level -Preferred: ESL certification Special Knowledge/Skills -Strong knowledge of assigned science subjects and curriculum -General understanding of curriculum design and instructional strategies -Ability to effectively manage student behavior and engagement -Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience -Minimum of 1 year of student teaching or an approved internship -Demonstrated competency in the assigned core academic subject area |
