| Description/Notes: | Job Summary Milano Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Elementary Teacher. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential. This full-time position requires a commitment to creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student success. Responsibilities - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with state curriculum standards. - Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and respect. - Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations. - Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior. - Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. - Manage classroom behavior and implement effective discipline strategies. - Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and techniques. - Organize and supervise classroom activities, including group work, projects, and field trips. - Support students with diverse learning needs and adapt instruction accordingly. |
