| Description/Notes: | JOB TITLE: Coordinator – Teacher Recruitment & Pathways REPORTS TO: Director – Recruitment & Educator Development WAGE/HOUR STATUS: Exempt PAY GRADE: AM 3 PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Coordinator – Teacher Recruitment & Pathways provides districtwide coordination and operational leadership supporting Spring ISD's teacher recruitment strategy and educator pathway initiatives by strengthening partnerships and creating seamless pathways that attract, prepare, and transition highly qualified educators into the district. This position is responsible for coordinating teacher recruitment activities, university partnerships, teacher residency and registered apprenticeship programs, the Visiting International Teacher Program, student teacher and clinical teaching experiences, and other educator pathway initiatives that strengthen the district's ability to attract, prepare, and transition highly qualified educators into Spring ISD. Working collaboratively with the Director of Recruitment & Educator Development, campus administrators, Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs), institutions of higher education, international recruiting partners, and community stakeholders, the Coordinator manages the day-to-day implementation of teacher recruitment and educator pathway initiatives while coordinating candidate outreach, partnership development, residency and apprenticeship experiences, international teacher onboarding, transition services, and educator preparation activities. This position serves as the primary operational liaison for multiple educator pipeline programs, ensuring participants receive comprehensive support while maintaining program quality, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service throughout the recruitment and onboarding process. The Coordinator supports the continuous improvement of teacher recruitment and educator pathway initiatives through strategic partnerships, effective project management, data analysis, operational excellence, and evidence-based decision-making while helping to strengthen teacher recruitment, expand educator pipelines, improve participant experiences, and advance Spring ISD's strategic priorities. MAJOR REPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Teacher Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Coordinate the implementation of Spring ISD's comprehensive teacher recruitment strategy to acquire highly qualified and diverse educators aligned with the district's strategic staffing priorities. Coordinate the planning, organization, logistics, and execution of district-sponsored teacher recruitment events, hiring fairs, university recruitment visits, virtual recruitment events, and other educator recruitment initiatives. Coordinate recruitment schedules, travel, registrations, event logistics, promotional materials, and recruitment resources to ensure high-quality candidate experiences. Represent Spring ISD at local, regional, statewide, and national teacher recruitment events while effectively communicating the district's mission, culture, employee value proposition, and career opportunities. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with colleges and universities, Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs), Education Service Centers, professional organizations, and other educator recruitment partners that strengthen teacher pipelines. Coordinate teacher recruitment communications, marketing materials, social media initiatives, digital outreach campaigns, and other recruitment resources supporting the district's teacher recruitment strategy. Assist with identifying innovative teacher recruitment strategies that strengthen applicant pools, improve candidate engagement, and address critical shortage teaching areas. Monitor teacher recruitment activities and maintain accurate recruitment records supporting workforce planning, recruitment metrics, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with staffing personnel and campus leadership to support teacher hiring priorities and improve recruitment outcomes. Teacher Residency and Registered Apprenticeship Programs Coordinate the implementation of Spring ISD's teacher residency and registered apprenticeship programs in collaboration with Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs), university partners, and campus leadership. Coordinate the recruitment, selection, placement, onboarding, and ongoing support of teacher residents, apprentices, mentor teachers, and host campuses. Coordinate residency experiences, observation schedules, coaching opportunities, program milestones, evaluations, and participant communications. Maintain participant records, certification milestones, program documentation, and implementation timelines while ensuring compliance with district and program requirements. Collaborate with campus administrators, mentor teachers, and university partners to provide meaningful clinical experiences that prepare future educators for successful teaching careers. Monitor participant progress, collect program data, and recommend improvements that strengthen educator preparation and workforce readiness. Visiting International Teacher Program Coordinate the implementation and day-to-day operations of the district's Visiting International Teacher Program. Serve as the primary liaison between Spring ISD, international recruiting agencies, campus leadership, district departments, and participating international teachers. Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and transition activities that support international teachers as they begin employment with Spring ISD. Assist international teachers with navigating district onboarding requirements, employment processes, available community resources, and adjustment to living and working in the United States. Coordinate communication with district departments to ensure international teachers receive timely support related to employment, payroll, benefits, technology access, certification, and other onboarding needs. Develop resources, orientation materials, and support systems that promote successful integration into Spring ISD and the local community. Monitor participant satisfaction, retention, and program effectiveness while recommending improvements that strengthen the Visiting International Teacher experience. University Partnerships and Teacher Pipeline Development Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with colleges and universities, Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs), alternative certification providers, and other organizations that support teacher preparation and workforce development. Coordinate student teacher, clinical teacher, intern, and field experience placements in collaboration with campus administrators and university partners. Coordinate university visits, partnership meetings, advisory committees, and collaborative planning sessions supporting educator preparation initiatives. Maintain memorandums of understanding, partnership agreements, placement records, and related documentation supporting educator pathway programs. Identify opportunities to expand educator pathways and strengthen long-term teacher recruitment partnerships. Program Evaluation, Data Analytics, and Continuous Improvement Collect, analyze, interpret, and maintain qualitative and quantitative data supporting teacher recruitment, teacher residency, registered apprenticeship, student teaching, the Visiting International Teacher Program, and other educator pathway initiatives. Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and communication tools supporting executive decision-making, grant reporting, and program evaluation. Monitor key performance indicators related to teacher recruitment, educator pathways, participant engagement, placement success, and workforce sustainability. Analyze recruitment outcomes, participant feedback, and workforce trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Maintain accurate documentation supporting district planning, grant compliance, organizational reporting, and strategic decision-making. Strategic Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement Coordinate communication and collaboration with Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs), colleges and universities, international recruitment partners, Education Service Centers, community organizations, governmental agencies, and professional associations supporting teacher recruitment and educator pathway initiatives. Represent the Spring ISD at recruitment events, university meetings, conferences, educator preparation activities, and partnership events as assigned. Coordinate partnership meetings, presentations, communications, and collaborative planning activities that strengthen teacher recruitment and educator preparation. Promote Spring ISD's teacher recruitment and educator pathway initiatives through exceptional customer service, professional communication, and meaningful stakeholder engagement. Organizational Leadership and Operational Support Coordinate departmental projects, operational activities, and strategic initiatives supporting teacher recruitment and educator pathway programs while ensuring timely completion of departmental priorities. Assist with departmental budgeting, purchasing, travel coordination, inventory management, contracts, and resource allocation supporting teacher recruitment and educator pathway initiatives. Coordinate departmental communications, websites, calendars, presentations, operational procedures, and program documentation. Develop and maintain organizational systems that improve operational efficiency, customer service, project management, and program implementation. Prepare executive reports, presentations, briefing materials, correspondence, and other materials supporting departmental initiatives. Serve as the Director of Recruitment & Educator Development's designee for meetings, presentations, partnership activities, and district events as assigned. Professional Responsibilities Participate in professional learning opportunities that strengthen individual effectiveness and support district priorities. Maintain strict confidentiality while exercising sound judgment in handling sensitive information and personnel matters. WORKING CONDITIONS: Physical Demands The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require physical mobility, prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. This position requires frequent travel throughout the district and regular travel throughout Texas to support teacher recruitment initiatives, university partnerships, Educator Preparation Program (EPP) collaborations, teacher residency and registered apprenticeship activities, the Visiting International Teacher Program, conferences, and other district business. Overnight travel may be required to participate in regional and statewide teacher recruitment events, professional conferences, and partnership meetings. Responsibilities routinely include transporting, setting up, maintaining, and dismantling recruitment displays, promotional materials, technology, signage, and other equipment for teacher recruitment fairs, university visits, onboarding events, orientation programs, and educator pathway activities. Evening and weekend work is regularly required to support teacher recruitment events, university activities, new teacher onboarding, orientation programs, partnership meetings, and other district initiatives. | Qualifications: | QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Education, Educational Leadership, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Public Administration, Communications, or a closely related field. Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in teacher recruitment, talent acquisition, educator preparation, workforce development, human resources, educational administration, or a related field. Demonstrated experience coordinating complex projects, events, educator pathway initiatives, or districtwide programs involving multiple stakeholders. Experience developing collaborative partnerships with institutions of higher education, Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs), community organizations, governmental agencies, or other external partners. Experience utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate program effectiveness, monitor implementation, and support continuous improvement. Ability to travel locally and statewide, including overnight travel, to support teacher recruitment, partnership development, conferences, and educator pathway initiatives. Preferred: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Educational Leadership, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. Experience coordinating teacher recruitment initiatives, teacher residency programs, registered apprenticeship programs, student teaching or clinical teaching experiences, the Visiting International Teacher Program, or other educator pathway initiatives. Experience collaborating with Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs), institutions of higher education, international recruitment agencies, or educator workforce organizations. Experience supporting federal, state, or grant-funded programs, including program implementation, compliance monitoring, reporting, or budget management. Bilingual with demonstrated proficiency in English and Spanish. SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Comprehensive knowledge of strategic teacher recruitment, talent acquisition, employer branding, workforce planning, and educator pipeline development within a public education environment. Demonstrated ability to coordinate, implement, and evaluate districtwide teacher recruitment and educator pathway initiatives while ensuring alignment with district priorities, program requirements, and grant expectations. Ability to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs), colleges and universities, Education Service Centers, international recruiting agencies, governmental agencies, community organizations, and other strategic partners that strengthen educator recruitment and preparation. Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple stakeholders while managing competing priorities, timelines, logistics, budgets, travel, and operational requirements.
