| Description/Notes: | To advance academic achievement for Emergent Bilingual students by bridging district initiatives with campus-level implementation. The Multilingual Program Coordinator leads the integration of the one-way dual language model and the ELPS to elevate Tier I instruction, foster bilingualism and biliteracy, and maximize student outcomes. This role collaborates directly with curriculum & instruction, special programs, teachers, and school leaders to sustain a cohesive, high-quality system of curriculum, dual language programming, assessment, and targeted professional earning. |
| Qualifications: | QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: Valid Texas Teacher’s Certification Bilingual certification/endorsement Master’s Degree required SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS: ● Bilingual and biliterate proficiency in Spanish and English required. ● Expertise in second language acquisition, culturally responsive pedagogy, and effective curriculum design. ● Proven experience implementing and evaluating one-way dual language model, ESL Instructional models, and content based language instruction. ● Ability to analyze student data to evaluate instructional programs and improve teaching effectiveness. ● Knowledge of adult learning principles with experience in designing and delivering professional learning and instructional coaching. ● Skill in utilizing district instructional resources and diverse pedagogical methods to support Emergent Bilingual students. ● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects independently and meet deadlines. ● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across district and campus teams. Experience (Minimum/Required): K-5 classroom experience in a Dual Language One Way program Instructional Coaching or Campus Leadership experience Experience developing, designing, planning, and evaluating curriculum resources |
