| Description/Notes: | Licensed Specialist in School Psychology – (Full-Time) We are seeking a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist to support students across the Houston Trinity County Shared Services. Proudly serving Apple Springs, Centerville, Grapeland, Groveton, Kennard, Latexo & Lovelady ISD’s. Position Overview The School Psychologist will provide a range of psychological services across the districts, including conducting evaluations, supporting behavioral interventions, and collaborating with school teams. This role may also include providing counseling services as needed. (Currently a Special Education Counselor is staffed at Houston Trinity County Shared Services.) Additionally, this position will coincide with a small caseload for administering IEP meetings and/or assessments in all areas excluding speech/language & related services. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychoeducational and psychological evaluations across the districts Perform autism evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations Develop and support implementation of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs Provide consultation and guidance on behavioral and mental health concerns Deliver counseling services to students as appropriate Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines Basic Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates must submit the following: Application, Found on Groveton ISD website (fiscal agent) Current Resume highlighting relevant experience Valid School Psychologist Certification/Licensure Relevant School-Based Experience Incomplete applications may not be reviewed. Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Active state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience with psychological and autism evaluations Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment and intervention (FBA/BIP) Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Prior school-based experience preferred |
