We are a 5A district with 5 elementaries, 1 intermediate school, 1 middle school, 1 high school and 1 alternative high school. We offer students a progressive, comprehensive academic and extracurricular experience including a well-developed CTE program and Early College High School (in partnership with Austin Community College). All classrooms and facilities in Elgin ISD include outstanding technology providing a 21st Century Learning environment and we are in our 5th year of our 1:1 Initiative equipping students in middle and high schools with personal devices and Google Classroom. | Qualifications: | Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED Clear and valid driver’s license Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of computer workstation setup (i.e.,Windows, ChromeOS, and iOS) Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications Ability to install, maintain, and repair computers and peripherals Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs Experience: One year of work experience installing, maintaining, and repairing computers and peripherals |
