| Description/Notes: | Direct and manage the overall program of instrumental music for the district. Provide students with an opportunity to participate in extracurricular band activities and ensure compliance with all state, University Interscholastic League (UIL), and district requirements. Plan activities to achieve district, region, and state recognition. The position is the band director for the district serving grades 6-12. |
| Qualifications: | Must have Texas Teaching certification and be highly qualified; prefer all level music certification. Three years of successful leadership as an Assistant or Head Band Director required. Candidate must be outgoing, positive, demonstrate excellent ability to build relationships with students, parents, faculty, staff, administration and the community. |
