| Campus Description: | Cedars International Academy Cedars International Academy is seeking a collaborative and student-centered Special Education Co-Teacher to support elementary students in an inclusive classroom environment. The SPED Co-Teacher will work alongside general education teachers to provide accommodations, interventions, and instructional support that ensure all students can access rigorous learning experiences. Cedars is a Project-Based Learning (PBL) campus and a Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) campus that values instructional excellence, collaboration, and innovation. Primary Responsibilities Co-plan and co-teach with general education teachers Implement student accommodations and modifications aligned to IEPs Support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth of students Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with families and staff Assist in creating a positive and engaging classroom environment Use instructional strategies and interventions to support diverse learners Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university Valid Texas Special Education certification Strong collaboration and communication skills Preferred: ESL certification Experience in elementary inclusion settings Experience with co-teaching and differentiated instruction Experience in Project-Based Learning environments Compensation Base salary starting at $54,817 for candidates with no experience Special Education stipend: $6,000 Optional ESL stipend: $7,000 for certified ESL teachers Additional earning opportunities available through TIA designation Why Cedars?
