| Description/Notes: | The Ralls ISD Board of Trustees is currently seeking a successful and experienced educational leader to employ as the district's Superintendent of Schools. Region 17 Education Service Center will assist in the search process. Important dates: June 2, 2026-----Application Deadline June 10-11, 2026-----First Round Interviews June 16, 2026-----Second Round Interviews June 16, 2026-----Lone Finalist Named July 7/8, 2026-----Hire New Supt. or Special Meeting The RISD Board of Trustees reserves the right to modify any and all timelines whenever it is deemed necessary by the district. At this time, Ralls ISD is under a conservatorship appointed by TEA. |
| Qualifications: | The Superintendent of RISD serves as the Chief Executive Officer and is the trusted leader and public face of the district for students, parents, staff, and the community. The RISD Board of Trustees seeks candidates who demonstrate the following characteristics: * The candidate should demonstrate strong Instructional Leadership * Proven experience in leading and managing campus improvement * Ability to effectively collaborate with a conservator * Proven success in educational leadership and administrative roles within Texas public schools * Demonstrated visionary leadership that has led to outstanding education outcomes * Holds a valid Texas Superintendent certification (preferred) * Prior administrative experience preferred * Superintendent housing available, residency within the district is negotiable |
