Primary Purpose Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in school and life. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Valid Texas teaching certificate appropriate for grade level/subject assignment ESL certification preferred or willingness to obtain within district timeline Demonstrated knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional best practices Strong classroom management and communication skills Major Responsibilities and Duties Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned to Texas TEKS Create a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs Use student data to guide instruction and intervention Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and administrators Maintain timely and accurate records, grades, and communication with families Support campus and district initiatives focused on student achievement and growth Participate in professional learning and continuous improvement efforts Desired Characteristics We are looking for educators who: Build meaningful relationships with students and families Maintain high expectations while supporting student growth Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and teamwork Bring creativity, positivity, and a heart for service to the classroom Are committed to continuous learning and improvement Work Environment Elementary teachers work in a collaborative school setting focused on supporting student achievement, school culture, and family engagement. Salary Salary based on the district teacher salary schedule and years of approved experience. Our current minimum starting is $63,300. We are announcing our raises in July 2026.
