This position will most likely teach Mathematics at either 3,4, or 5th grade. However, the specific content/ grade assignment will be based on the candidate's strengths, background, experience, and the like. |
| Qualifications: |
Texas teacher certification or enrollment in an appropriate alternative certification program for EC-6, 4-8 Core Subjects, 4-8 Math, 4-8 Science, or 4-8 Reading/Lang Arts all considered. Candidates certified in another area with a willingness to complete any of the listed certs considered as well. |
| Salary Range: |
Beginning teachers will start at $52,600 plus for the 26-27 school year. MCISD will be in year 2 of the TIA process in 26-27, teachers currently designated in another district have the potential to receive greater funding in MCISD based on the district's rural designation. |
