| Campus Description: | Pecos High School Campus Overview Grades Served: 9th – 12th Grade | Enrollment: ~900 Students | Principal: Chantel Hluchan About Pecos High School Pecos High School is where west Texas grit meets genuine opportunity. Serving approximately 900 students in grades 9 through 12, PHS is a campus on the rise — and the skyline makes that impossible to miss. A four-story beacon tower, lit brilliantly in purple each night, stands as a symbol of Pecos pride and a landmark that reminds students, staff, and the entire community that something special is happening here. The campus itself is stunning. Thoughtfully designed to complement the natural beauty of the desert landscape, Pecos High School is a facility that signals investment — in students, in educators, and in the future of this community. That investment is only growing. World-Class Facilities, Being Built Right Now Pecos High School is in the middle of a transformational facilities expansion that is reshaping what's possible for students and staff alike. A state-of-the-art Career and Technical Education (CTE) facility opened two years ago, providing students with hands-on, industry-aligned learning experiences that connect the classroom to real careers. This summer, PHS will open a brand-new academic building, updated gymnasiums, and a natatorium — a full aquatic facility that will serve students, athletes, and the broader Pecos community. And in fall 2027, a dedicated Fine Arts facility will complete the campus vision, giving students who create, perform, and express a home built just for them. Joining PHS now means growing alongside these spaces — and helping shape the culture that fills them. Why Pecos High School At PHS, educators don't just teach a subject — they invest in young people navigating one of the most formative chapters of their lives. Principal Chantel Hluchan leads a campus culture grounded in high expectations, genuine relationships, and a belief that every student who walks through these doors deserves a great high school experience. If you are an educator who wants to be part of something bigger than a single classroom — a campus, a community, and a story still being written — Pecos High School is calling. |
