| Description/Notes: | Primary Purpose: Provide leadership for the district's curriculum, instruction, and student support systems through strategic planning, program evaluation, and continuous improvement. Ensure alignment of instructional programs, assessment systems, and resources with district goals to improve student outcomes. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Master's degree in education administration, curriculum & instruction or related field Texas Mid-Management or Principal Certification Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment systems Ability to analyze data and evaluate instructional effectiveness Knowledge of TEKS Resource System and DMAC Knowledge of state and federal accountability frameworks Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to train and support teachers and professionals Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Experience: Five years experience as a classroom teacher Five years experience in instructional leadership roles |
