| Description/Notes: | The Middle School Principal serves as the instructional leader and chief culture builder of the campus, fostering a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement for both students and staff. High-quality instruction is ensured through systems that use student performance data to guide teaching and drive measurable growth. Coaching and professional learning are provided to strengthen instructional practices and support teacher development. Clear and consistent expectations for student achievement, character, and behavior are established and maintained, creating a safe, respectful, and academically focused learning environment. The principal maintains a visible presence on campus and actively communicates with students, staff, and families to build strong relationships and promote student success. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Master's degree in educational administration Texas Principal Certificate or other appropriate Texas administrative certification T-TESS certification preferred Special Knowledge/Skills: Deep understanding of effective instructional practices and curriculum implementation Ability to analyze and use student performance data to improve instruction and student outcomes Experience coaching and developing teachers through observation and feedback Ability to build systems that support student growth and campus accountability goals Ability to develop strong student culture and discipline systems Ability to manage personnel, budgets, and campus operations Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience: Three years experience as a classroom teacher Three years experience in instructional leadership/assistant principal role Principal experience preferred |
