| Description/Notes: | CENTER RESPONSIBILITIES: Processes all personal timekeeping, travel reporting and other paperwork in a timely manner Maintains professional attire and grooming appropriate for specific job position Demonstrates punctual and regular attendance on the job Reports for work ready to perform responsibilities Supports the mission, goals, and objectives of the ESC Upholds and adheres to safety rules and policies of the ESC Performs professional responsibilities as required by ESC policies, processes, and procedures Meets proficiency levels of required technology skills as outlined by supervisor Incorporates appropriate technology in daily work and exhibits continual growth in technologies as outlined by supervisor Exhibits professionalism in all situations at the ESC Develops collaborative and positive relationships with schools and co-workers Exhibits planning and leadership on assigned tasks and projects Ability to take initiative and exhibit innovative thinking Keeps supervisor advised of all pertinent financial and operations business Ability to handle constructive criticism in a positive manner Evidence of following-up and following-through with services Evidence of professional loyalty Other duties as assigned by supervisor DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to handle and see to completion multiple projects simultaneously and on deadline Demonstrates positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills Willing to work as a member of a team but also independently Upholds confidentiality of the information processed in all work, if required Attends all called meetings including departmental staff meetings, work team meetings, and general staff meetings Actively contributes to assigned work teams Develops and competently implements an individual work plan that clearly contributes to the accomplishment of departmental,Leadership & Instruction Team, and organizational goals Analyzes metrics, evaluates outcomes, and makes adjustments to optimize impact of work Demonstrates a commitment to provide exceptional customer service Delivers exceptional professional learning experiences POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Assess district and campus context and capacity to identify needs, understand context, assets, and priorities for growth and improvement opportunities Plan and manage change strategically and sustainably Build capacity and ownership through training and job-embedded support Monitor to ensure progress toward system and program goals Deliver initial upfront training, implementation support, and coaching: Provide support for campus and district leaders on implementing instructional leadership systems and HQIM Planning and Implementation grounded in RBIS. Actively collaborate with district and campus leaders and ESC teams for the strategy, planning and execution of grant activities aligned to the implementation of High-Quality Instructional Materials, namely Bluebonnet Learning. Responsibilities aligned to this function include: Coordinate support at each level of stakeholder within the LEA Collaborate with key ESC stakeholders, to include but not limited to Content Consultants, to streamline support for School Improvement campuses as needed Lead implementation check-ins with district & campus leaders, with ongoing coaching sessions Visit districts receiving program support meet and participate in and deliver professional development, learning walks, 1:1 coaching, PLCs, etc. Participate in, and at times facilitate, internal meetings with district and campus Leaders and relevant stakeholders to ensure team alignment and ongoing professional development Successfully complete all needed certifications and training of trainers (ToTs) sessions Lead appropriate up front training for campus and district leadership teams, including an emphasis on PLC and observation/feedback implementation Assist in monitoring LEA assessment data to inform needed adjustments in instruction and identifying gaps in implementation Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with campus leadership teams and teachers to successfully support change management Alignment and successful outcomes: Support the collection and analysis of data and metrics aligned to program success. Responsibilities aligned to this function include: Make targeted planning adjustments to ensure that districts receive customized support that is aligned to successful outcomes, fidelity of implementation for HQIM implementation and district and campus leadership systems Support data and artifact collection and submission Support and leverage a community of learning: Actively participate in up-front and ongoing training and support, TEA focus groups, and consistent coaching connections with ESC teams. Through these engagements, contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement through attendance and participation at all required sessions. SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS: Additional projects as assigned by supervisor or Executive Director TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Up to 226 working days This is an at-will employment position In the event of an economic slump, a reduction-in-force may be necessary. | Qualifications: | QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Education Leadership with experience as a district or campus leader Valid Texas Teacher’s Certificate Required Valid Principal Certificate Required/Recommended Knowledge of effective research: change process, systems thinking, organizational culture and adult learners Ability to plan, implement, deliver, and sustain professional development for leaders Prior experience planning and implementing HQIM and supporting district and campus leaders implement HQIM preferred. Aligned experience will be considered Advanced knowledge of curriculum practices, instruction, assessment, school improvement, and organizational culture Knowledge of federal and state accountability programs Recommended by the ESC Executive Director |
