JOB TITLE: Coordinator, CCMR – College and Career Military Readiness



REPORTS TO: Asst. Superintendent for Non-Instructional Data Quality (NIDQ)



WAGE/HOUR STATUS: Exempt



PAY GRADE: AM3



PRIMARY PURPOSE:



The CCMR Coordinator serves to provide college and career or military data and programmatic support at the campus and district levels. This position will work to provide effective coordination and execution of college and career or military components related to college readiness skills. The CCMR Coordinator will drive CCMR systems, advising, providing support and communication, along with CCMR professional development to the District CCMR Task Force Team. This position will work closely with the Data Management and Compliance Team and the Postsecondary Success Coordinator. This position will maximize student college, career, and military opportunities districtwide. The CCMR Coordinator will be physically onsite, working with each secondary campus CCMR liaison. The CCMR Coordinator will monitor specific CCMR goals set by each secondary campus.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Collaborates with district and campus leadership to maximize student CCMR outcomes.
Coordinates and manages assigned college and career readiness programs, postsecondary programming, platforms, initiatives, and/or personnel to increase effectiveness with district college and career readiness goals.
Reviews campus CCMR team’s clearly defined goals.
Works with Special Program Directors and align their support with CCMR criteria to increase the number of special program students’ CCMR options.
Develops systems to track performance by campus so that district data is aligned with TEA’s verified and tracked PEIMS-reported data.
Helps shape vision, goals and supporting strategies to prepare students in the district for post- secondary success through establishing metrics, goals, and benchmarks.
Uses multiple sources of data to monitor progress of college and career readiness efforts and adjust efforts as needed.
Analyzes student outcome and system data to make informed decisions for continuous program/platform improvement across college, career and postsecondary programming.
Reports campus and district CCMR goals with frequency that is aligned with established timelines and due dates.
Monitors state, federal, and legislative changes to ensure District policies and goals are aligned with state expectations.
Delivers professional development workshops and training to support CCMR initiatives, services, and programs.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment promoting collaboration, professional development, and high performance within the unit.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:



The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: physical mobility, standing, prolonged sitting, some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling. This position will also require both traveling within the district and state wide. Mental demands: Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations; ability to interpret a variety of data; ability to interpret TEC and policy; ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory of instructional programs; ability to be effective in both oral and written communication; ability to maintain emotional control under stress.

Qualifications: Required:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
At least three years of high school experience in the areas of data entry, administration, registration, enrollment, courses, teaching, and/or counseling.
At least two years of experience in postsecondary or college and career readiness
At least one year of CCMR experience
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:



Knowledge of trends, research, and implementation of public school postsecondary and CCMR readiness and its impact on State Accountability standards
Strong knowledge of CCMR indicators and data analyzing skills
Thorough knowledge of Board policies, federal and state laws & regulations related to postsecondary and college readiness.
Strong knowledge of data entry requirements to ensure all college and career or military postsecondary and college readiness data has been run and entered into the district’s software, including but not limited to our Student Information System (SIS) and On Data Suite
Ability to evaluate CCMR programs and practices per campus to ensure consistency in practice and alignment established processes and procedures.
Ability to interpret policy, procedures and data that relate to CCMR initiatives.
Ability to develop and deliver effective staff
Strong communication, public relations, presentation and interpersonal
