| Description/Notes: | BASIC FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY: Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, physical, and social/emotional growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. The MTSS Coach will provide job embedded professional development and procedural support in the areas of classroom management, Response to Intervention, Social-Emotional Learning, and Restorative Practices. The MTSS Coach will be responsible for developing, leading, implementing, monitoring, and collaborating with other educators in the school-wide integration of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support in addition to communicating with parents and working on campus committees. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Knowledge of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS) for assigned area. | Qualifications: | Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and valid Texas Teacher Certificate with required endorsements and a minimum of three years of classroom teaching experience. A Master’s degree is preferred. |
