| Description/Notes: | Our Field Service Representatives promote member participation in all TASB programs and services within their assigned territory by marketing those programs. Representatives assist in the conduct of Executive Search Services projects and establish a relationship of goodwill and trust between members and TASB. This is a Texas-based remote position requiring selected candidates to live in Texas and ability to travel. |
| Qualifications: | Education and Experience: Master’s degree from an accredited university. Principal and Superintendent’s Texas certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Superintendent of a Texas public school district or former Texas public school board member required; 10 years' experience preferred. Solid experience in school finance and budget management is considered a strong asset. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: A thorough understanding of the workings of the Texas Public Education System is critical. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to effectively deal with the public, member districts, and their personnel, and TASB employees. Ability to act independently with little or on supervision. Ability to organize time and logistics of territory management. Ability to efficiently manage travel and mileage budgets. Willingness to promote TASB and its products and services to Texas school districts. Ability to type 30 words per minute. Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and skilled in data entry. Ability to travel within the State of Texas with occasional overnight and weekend travel. |
| Salary Range: | $65,000-$101,000 |
